Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (4)
- $225,959 spent. Sanctuary: Rosie's operates a sanctuary that rescues and rehabilitates farm animals. For 2025, Rosie's housed 49 total animals: 20 chickens, 5 sheep, 2 cows, 10 pigs, 3 horses, 6 goats, and 3 turkeys. We rescued 1 pig (fostered him and found him a home), 7 chickens, 1 sheep, and 1 horse. We also helped 12 animals find homes. We built three compost systems for all of our organic matter, which saved hundreds of bags that were previously taken to the dump. We use the compost around the property to enrich the soil. Rosie's is a working farm and grew pumpkins in 2025.
- $75,456 spent. Education: Rosie's conducted 150 educational tours of the farm sanctuary with over 5,000 visits comprised of 1,300 adults and 700 children. Rosie's also hosted 25 school visits. Our tours are open to people of all demographics and abilities. We also added 3 new programs to our internship program with 20 students.
- $275 spent. Organization Support: Rosie's supports other sanctuaries and vegan organizations as part of its mission to be the voice of animals and to educate and advocate on these issues.
- Gift Shop: Rosie's operates a volunteer-run gift shop on the farm property that sells items produced from crops grown on our farm to educate the public on sustainable and earth-friendly practices and other related items. In 2025, we grew pumpkins, which were purchased by the community to feed our animals. Our volunteer run gift shop sold candles with herbs produced at Rosie's.
