- $55,902 spent. The Friends of Josephine County Children's Advocacy completed the construction of the new state-of-the-art Children's Advocacy Center in 2024. The Children's Advocacy Center provides forensic medical exams/interviews to those children in our community who have been victims of abuse or neglect. These forensic services are used as evidence in court when necessary. The new Center will allow for all services related to the allegations of abuse/neglect to be provided in one location - which is the best case scenario when following a trauma-informed model of care.
