  1. $2.3 million spent. TIMBERVIEW FARMSTEAD BELIEVES EVERY CHILD NEEDS GOOD SOIL TO GROW. YET SO MANY YOUNG PEOPLE IN TARRANT COUNTY AND SURROUNDING AREAS STRUGGLE TO THRIVE. SOCIALLY, ECONOMICALLY, PHYSICALLY, SPIRITUALLY, MENTALLY, AND EDUCATIONALLY, OUR KIDS ARE NAVIGATING A COMPLEX AND DIFFICULT WORLD. SADLY, TOO MANY CHILDREN IN TARRANT COUNTY ARE EXPERIENCING THE TRAUMA AND TOXIC STRESS OF ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES. AT TIMBERVIEW FARMSTEAD, WE HAVE DESIGNED A RESTORATIVE PLACE TO MAKE A MEASURABLE IMPACT ON THE HEALTH AND FLOURISHING OF FUTURE GENERATIONS. THROUGH OUR HOLISTIC MODEL OF FARM-BASED EDUCATION, CULINARY EXPERIENCES, AND COMMUNITY-CENTRIC PROGRAMMING, KIDS AND FAMILIES ACROSS OUR COMMUNITY CAN STEP INTO A WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY. WE BELIEVE ALL PEOPLE ARE DESIGNED TO FLOURISH, AND OUR TEAM OF EDUCATORS, FARMERS, PHILANTHROPISTS, AND SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS INVITES YOU TO SUSTAINABLY INVEST IN FORT WORTH'S FUTURE LEADERS. WE DO THIS THROUGH ENRICHMENT OUTINGS FOR STUDENTS FROM THE GREATER DFW AREA, MENTORING PROGRAMS FOR OUR TIMBERVIEW SCHOLARS FROM THE LOCAL COMMUNITY POPULATION OF DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS, AND COMMUNITY EVENTS FOR ALL.
