Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $127,936 spent. AT RESTORE COUNSELING CENTER (RCC), WE COUNSEL INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS. WE DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THE NEED FOR HELP HINGES ON A PERSON'S ABILITY TO PAY. WE DESIRE TO PROVIDE A SAFE PLACE FOR INDIVIDUALS TO PROCESS THEIR STRUGGLES AND TRAUMA. WE HELP THEM NAVIGATE THROUGH LIFE TRANSITIONS AND SPECIFIC AREAS OF PAIN. IF THE INDIVIDUAL IS ABLE TO PAY, THEN WE ASK THEM TO PAY SET RATES FOR SESSIONS, WHICH WILL BE ESTABLISHED AND ADJUSTED BY THE BOARD FROM TIME TO TIME. IF A PERSON SUFFERS FINANCIALLY, THEN WE ADJUST THE AMOUNT CHARGED BASED ON THE RESOURCES OF THE INDIVIDUAL RECEIVING THE COUNSELING. RCC IS ANTICIPATING RAISING FUNDS FROM DONORS, BUSINESSES, GRANTS, AND CHURCHES TO HELP OFFSET THE COST FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT PAY THE FULL AMOUNT. ONE OF OUR GOALS IS TO EVENTUALLYCOUNSEL ALL CRIME VICTIMS (RAPE, DOMESTIC ABUSE, BURGLARY, MOLESTATION,ETC.)FREE OF CHARGE. THIS WILL BE MADE AVALIABLE THROUGH A GOVERNMENT GRANT AND OTHER FUNDING.
