Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Ongoing partnerships with Longmont Humane Society, Humane Society of Boulder Valley, and local veterinarians expanded access to care.Emergency Weather Response - In partnership with the City of Boulder, we provided emergency sheltering support during three severe winter nights, ensuring people were temporarily housed safely with their pets. Trained staff and volunteers to support pet-inclusive sheltering. Supplied food, crates, and toys to make shelters safe and comfortable. Secured hotel stays for three households with pets in Longmont, filling a critical service gap where no pet-inclusive emergency options currently exist. Our foster program provides temporary placements with the goal of reunification once pet owners complete medical or treatment programs. This unique model addresses a critical regional need. 7 pets fostered, with stays ranging from 2 weeks to 3 months. 100% reunificationall pets were returned to their families. 65% of foster requests came from outside our service area, underscoring the scarcity of similar programs.Street Outreach is our first point of connection with clients, offering essential pet care supplies while building trust and linking individuals to housing and supportive services. Our outreach team works three times each week alongside partner nonprofits, Longmont Public Safety, and Harm Reduction Workers. 400+ client interactions built pathways toward stability and housing. 1,200 lbs of pet food distributed to keep companion animals nourished. 160 essential supplies (leashes, collars, coats) provided directly on the streets.
