Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $120,078 spent. Accomplishments from 2025 include: securing funding for older forest conservation from the state's Natural Climate Solutions account, securing funding for State DNR to do an assessment of the lands most appropriate for inclusion in a Natural Resource Conservation Area in the Elwha Watershed on the Olympic Peninsula, and provided detailed input to the DNR Commissioner's 77,000 acres conservation proposal. CRF also overhauled its website and developed educational videos explaining the multiplicity of benefits of older, structurally complex forests.
