Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $26,890 spent. Printing / Distribution - Our largest expense item as part of our program services for 2023 was the printing and distribution of Kinsmen Journal. A 240-page book with essays and photography, designed to provoke thought, dialogue, and formation. Also, the adjoining packaging and materials needed to support the distribution were included here. Sales of the book, including both individual and bulk sales was the only revenue generated outside of donations to the organization.
  2. $22,821 spent. Events (non-fundraising) - Each year, the organization hosts a series of gatherings for the men in the community and region. In 2023, there were two KINSMEN: Table gatherings hosted where expenses totaled $22,821.44. These gatherings are not a revenue source for the organization, which is why there's no revenue, they're completely free of charge for each of the invited attendees.
  3. $13,615 spent. Professional services - In 2023, the organization did not have any employees. Rather, as needed, professionals would be hired for specific work, like graphic design, photography, speaking, podcast production, etc. This was the 3rd largest expense category for program services that contributed to the fulfillment of the vision / mission of the organization.
  4. $11,498 spent. Marketing and Advertising to generate awareness, as well as the labor from the officer needed to perform the program services
