Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. Our Housing and Home Repair services involve helping struggling individuals and families with rent and utilities as well as finding and helping furnish homes for those transitioning from a homeless situation to permanent housing. We were able to provide needed resources to 57 families in 2025.
  2. $47,740 spent. Our clothing closet "Freely Given" provides clothing, shoes, purses, personal care items and other small items to its visitors. There are no restrictions on who may shop. We welcomed 3,273 visitors and gave away over 32,000 items during 2025. This expense includes the value of clothing given away that was generously donated to us.
  3. $3,206 spent. Transportation. We have a van that is used to provide rides to those without transportation resources. We drive them to doctors appointments, the food bank, pharmacy, therapy, jobs, and assistance resources. In 2025, we met 196 transportation requests, helping 26 people, and gave out thirteen $50 gas cards. The expenses for this program include van insurance, repairs, maintenance and fuel. In 2025 we were also able to help people with auto repair bills so they could continue to get to work.
  4. $5,613 spent. Our Diaper Bank offers diapers and wipes to new mothers who are struggling financially. We also offer incontinent supplies for adults without the resources to purchase what is needed. When possible, we have also been able to match up mothers needing formula with mothers who have an extra supply no longer needed. This past year we were able to help 213 mothers and gave out 35,700 diapers/wipes. The program expense also includes the value of supplies that were generously donated to us.
