Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

- $11,306 spent. "ShopBigIsland.com" continues to support Hawaii Island Businesses during the slow economic recovery and lack of employees needed to sustain economic growth. HIVB began a project, underwritten by the County of Hawaii, designed to stimulate Hawaii Island's economy by creating a website which provides current information on various businesses and services located on the Island. The website provides mobile and web-based access to all businesses at no cost. Registration is free. Businesses can provide their information directly on the website with the option of providing a direct link to their individual websites. The website has expanded to provide local businesses the option of listing job opportunities throughout the Island, and has continued its support and promotion of Hawaii Island's Pono Pledge and Aloha Spoken Here campaigns.
