Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (5)
- $30,621 spent. Operate Art Gallery: We promote artists' professional development by providing a venue where local artists can display and sell art. They participate in staffing the gallery and learn promotional and management skills. They are encouraged to provide classes to the public and promote a wider interest in the arts. Over 30 participate and roughly 10,000 persons visited.
- $3,137 spent. 2) The ACF created, planned, organized and sponsored The First Annual Flagstaff Plein Aire Photography Festival to promote participation and appreciation of the artistic opportunities in the Flagstaff area. The Festival was a great success considering it was in its inaugural year, with nearly 2 dozen photographers, both professional and amateur, from diverse areas of the state. A second festival is planned for 2026 and will expand both the reach and participation level with greater publicity and promotion.
- $3,992 spent. 3) Flagstaff Open Studios: We organize and promote a two day exhibition during which local artists open their homes or studios for visitation and demonstration to the public. Brochures and maps provide promotion and directions. 25 artists participated. Approximately 1200 attendees.
- $975 spent. Provide other venues: We work with other businesses, restaurants and galleries to make space available for the display of art in addition to that at our own gallery. Approx 20 artists are involved as space is available. I allocated 5% of our executive director's salary to service expenses
- $4,999 spent. The ACF has applied for, and received a $4999.99 grant from the Veteran's Administration for the purpose of providing art classes free of charge to military veterans. We provide materials, appropriate work spaces and practicing artists/instructors in various fields of art. We are applying to receive this grant for a third consecutive year. In 2025 the program moved beyond the developmental stage and began functioning as anticipated. We were successful in reaching many more students (18) and expanding our pool of available instructors (7). Some of our military veterans now display their work, free of charge, at our gallery. As of December 31, 2025 we had exhausted approximately 85% of the grant money and will expend the rest before the grant deadline of January 31,2026
