Programs described in its return (3)
- $15,211 spent. 95 students in grades 3-12 participated in CHSRC's yearlong, hands-on science workshops. These interactive sessions cover age-appropriate scientific topics and are designed to prepare students for advanced coursework in higher education. The workshops also enhance at-home learning by providing lab experiences and experiments that are often difficult to replicate in a homeschool setting.
- $73,704 spent. CHSRC provides in-person homeschool consultations and curriculum assistance to more than 2,000 individuals annually. In addition, we respond to approximately 1,000 phone inquiries each year from homeschooling families seeking guidance and support. Our digital outreach further amplifies our impact. With nearly 4,000 followers on Facebook, plus additional engagement through our website and other online platforms, we maintain an active presence that delivers timely information on curriculum options, current issues affecting homeschoolers, and practical tips to help families make their homeschooling journey affordable, effective, and enriching.
- $10,467 spent. CHSRC is the only location in Arizona equipped to offer large-scale standardized testing to homeschool students in a non-public school setting. This year, we administered the PSAT to 88 high school students and IOWA testing to 104 students in grades 3-12. Families travel from multiple regions across the state to participate in our well-organized and supportive testing environment.
