Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. The UNLV Student Chapter was awarded the Mountain District Student Chapter Monument award for 2023-2024. Approximately 25 events were hosted for UNLV students including several Transportation Seminars, Office Tours and Technical Tours, and Professional Development and Networking Events. The Transportation Seminars presented guest speakers in various transportation engineering subdisciplines to the students and answered questions pertaining to their respective industries. Office Tours and Technical Tours offered students the ability to learn more about private and public entities hiring internship positions, as well as provided technical engineering information pertaining to geotechnical engineering and tunnels, traffic signal optimization and operations, and computer science related programming capabilities of autonomous vehicles. Professional development and networking events focused on introducing students to established engineers in both the public and private sectors. All of these events were offered to the students as a means to expand their scientific and educational knowledge, in conjunction with that provided by their education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Howard Hughes College of Engineering Department.
