Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $7,648 spent. Project Hosting Fees Hekademeias unique, cloud-based hosting model is designed to keep projects operational even between funding gaps and vendor changes. To accomplish our perpetual hosting and support services, we leverage cloud-based hosting technologies and optimize projects for low long-term costs. Projects are adapted to a container network, hosted in a Docker Swarm on Amazon Web Services (AWS). In addition to building and managing the hosting architecture, we provide monitoring and software updates on a continual basis. We are also committed to provide hosting and support for this project during the award phase and through Sponsored Membership for a minimum of 5 years beyond.
  2. $163,711 spent. Project Administration Hekademeia will serve as the primary point of contact for the technology vendors and report regularly on the progress of the project throughout the development phase. At each iteration, we will evaluate the deliverables with the investigator and bring feedback to the vendors for revision. If necessary, Hekademeia will assist in negotiating change-orders and make available additional qualified vendors to maintain project deadlines and expected deliverables.
  3. $7,427 spent. Technical Consulting provide for open-ended support of research projects on an hourly basis. A department or university can leverage these services to create a formal, long-term relationship with Hekademeia via cooperative agreement and provide services to projects at any phase (pre-award, actively funded, or post-award).
  4. Software Development Services Hekademeia contracts software development services from our network of vendors, as described in the attached Subcontract. Our role in software development is to facilitate communications between researchers and technical staff. We maintain a list of software vendors experienced in research software development, and work with them collectively to define standard practices and technology requirements. We perform design reviews and code audits to make sure that the software meets institutional and federal requirements in security and accessibility. Further, we collect and curate documentation so that the next round of developers (either students or vendors) can carry on the efforts and decisions of the project.
