Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $25,962 spent. Food Program: We operated a smaller weekly food shelf until April 2025. Our services reached 1,686 households by from August to January 2025 serving 7,966 people and giving out 24,146 pounds of food. This program will be different moving forward because we lost our rental space at the end of May 2025.
  2. $6,169 spent. Events: This fiscal year we hosted two major community events: a Fall Festival and a Thankgiving meal giveaway. The Fall Festival included a coat giveaway as well as a Trunk or Treat and was attended by well over 500 community members. We also hosted a food distribution at this event that served 178 households. At our Thankgiving meal event we packed and passed out Thankgiving meals for 115 families. Each meal included a frozen turkey a pie potatoes butter and stuffing along with a few other items.
  3. $1,165 spent. Youth Employment Program: This year we reduced our youth employment program in size due to a restructuring of our food distribution program. We continued to mentor and work with two young Latina females assigning them greater roles in the organization as they took more responsibility for the food shelf. We paid a total of four youth as occasional contractors in addition to the two key employees referenced earlier. Some of the funding was tied to grants through the food program however and is not reported in this programs expenses.
