Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $8,600 spent. Approximately 25 athletes row with Coastal Virginia Community Rowing. We pay our coaches for their expertise in dryland and on-the-water coaching of athletes at all levels, and for coaching support of athletes at regattas.
- $6,953 spent. We maintain equipment to train and compete with, including dryland erg machines and rowing shells and sculls for on-the-water. We pay for the purchase, upkeep, and operating expenses associated with the equipment. This year we purchased a used Sculling 1X, and a pair of new Sculling Oars. This is a racing boat for a single person using 2 oars. It is in the "Blind Boat" category, since there is no Coxswain and the rower is facing backwards.
- $10,244 spent. We participate in regattas locally and in other venues. Expenses include travel mileage pulling the trailer with the boats, hotels for coaches, regatta entry fees, and seasonal dues to the local racing association, etc. We also participate in Erg Competitions during our winter season, some of which include traveling.
