Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $7,830 spent. Warriors for High Quality Schools was founded in 2017 to support research and advocacy for racial justice, equity, and equality for under-served students in the Denver Public Schools (DPS) system. Since 2017, Warriors for High Quality have worked with other community members and organizations to combat and dismantle institutional racism, while creating new pathways of excellence, within DPS and beyond. Warriors for High Quality Schools founded, designed, and supports a DPS innovation school in 2019, the Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy, in support of its mission. In 2024, Warriors Foundation provided funding to Warriors for High Quality Schools in its continued support of Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy. In the Spring of 2024, Warriors for High Quality Schools sponsored and participated in the school's HBCU Tour, which involved a week-long tour of various colleges, universities, and nearby areas of attraction in Texas and Louisiana. The funds were used to help pay for airplane tickets from Denver, Colorado to Houston, TX, ground transportation, lodging, meals and sacks, school travel paraphernalia, and other related items. Warriors for High Quality Schools also provided monetary gifts to each member of the STEAM Academy's first graduating class ($100.00 each for 24 students) during their Senior Breakfast to show appreciation for their dedication and academic success and celebration as the founding graduating class.
