Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $151,233 spent. The Georgia RSVP Clinic is a free outpatient medical rehabilitation program for uninsured and underinsured individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, or stroke. Our clinical volunteers include physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists, recreational therapists, psychiatrists, and peer mentors. We provide individual and group education to support families. For clients unable to attend in person due to medical or transportation barriers, we offer telehealth services to ensure access to care. Between clinic dates, we provide ongoing, comprehensive case management to address the social determinants of health, including housing, food access, transportation, and connection to vital community resources. We also assist clients in accessing essential medical supplies and equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, and adaptive devices that promote safety and independence. During fiscal year 2025-2026, our volunteers dedicated 3,586 hours of clinical expertise and operational support. We held 12 clinics, one per month, and provided 618 free medical and therapy appointments. We admitted 20 new clients, served 30 clients in the clinic, and discharged 15. Clients are seen in the clinic for an average of 8 months, and some for over a year. Every client admitted to the clinic received specialized interdisciplinary therapy services. In total, we served 68 people this year, including family members who received education and individuals not formally admitted to the clinic who received information and referral and virtual case management. Of our clients, 100% were connected to the specialty medical providers and medical equipment they need, 85% were connected to the transportation services they need, and 80% reported being connected to all the specialty medical supplies they need.
