What it says it does

Our Foundation a 501 (c)3 not for profit aims to honor Paul by supporting, honoring, and providing education for other first responders EMS, Ambulance Personnel, Medical Flight Services and their families. We provide scholarships for individuals wishing to become EMTs, Paramedics, or Firefighters. We work to make sure needs are met for all EMS, First Responders, and their families by providing support or advocating for them on the local and national level. We make sure they are honored and recognized for their dedication to others. One of our major areas of focus is to support families that have suffered from losing a loved one in the line of duty. For more information or to become a sponsor of one of our many events and efforts please contact us through our contact page or via phone 954.540.0268.

Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. Honor: The For Paul Foundation honors First Responders through the following programs and activities:
  2. Support: In 2023 The For Paul Foundation supported First Responders and their families in many ways. Including but not limited to assisting injured First Responders by helping with emergent needs like home modifications after injuries, support with meals and help with childcare. The foundation facilitated support for active First Responders to enhance their quality by providing assistance to their competition teams that help strengthen their skills and connections with other first responders. The foundation was also able to participate in a speaker series for First Responders to encourage mental health resilience.
  3. Educate: The For Paul Foundation educates First Responders by providing scholarships for young men and women who would like to pursue a career as a First Responder. Very few scholarships are available for this purpose so the For Paul Foundation is fulfilling a need in the community by helping young people obtain needed education for the profession. In 2023, the organization awarded 7 scholarships for a total of $10,750 which assisted future First Responders much needed assistance for their programming.
