- $4,193 spent. Gun Violence Awareness Month - Pray 4 Justice Vigil and Resource event, a Survivor Walk, and billboard ads. We used billboard ads to encourage using the Crime Stoppers tip line to report information on open homicide cases. Eighty people participated and we reached another 50 individuals via canvassing and direct contact. In partnership with Crime Survivors for Safety & Justice (CSSJ), 10 M-PAC members travelled to Washington DC for Survivor Speak 2024. Attendees conversed with other survivors, shared stories, received information for healing, supported policy changes surrounding crime and gun violence, and attended meetings with law makers. We orchestrated and executed 32 activities and events with 520 attendees and total reach exceeding 3400 people. This includes four community forums and engaged grassroots canvassing where we shared information on the voting process and upcoming elections.
