Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $60,065 spent. The EAT Foundation sponsors events throughout the year for young people of varying ages backgrounds and experiences. The events are designed to provide an avenue for growth through exposure to positive adults and environments building life skills and healthy competition. Participation fees which cover operational costs facility use security etc. in events are typically waived or substantially reduced allowing us to reach more youth. Our events served over 100 youth club teams and 300 youth approximately.
  2. $30,000 spent. Our youth club basketball teams serve over 50 children between the ages of 9 and 16. Participants in the program receive specialized skills training sessions and team practice sessions. Practice and game uniforms and team apparel such as bookbags t-shirts and sweatsuits are also provided. In addition team members participate in two or more tournaments per month throughout the fall winter and summer sports seasons that require team registration fees for each event. Participation in our program is at reduced costs compared to other programs and one where many receive partial or full scholarships.
