Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (7)
  1. $1.2 million spent. Advanced global health research and advocacy to accelerate access to Long-Acting PrEP (LA-PrEP) for key populations, specifically Black GBMSM. Key 2025 accomplishments included researching and publishing data on global LA-PrEP demand and market readiness (projected for 2025-2030), operating the "HIV Country Planning Hub" to bridge the gap between scientific availability and local accessibility, and empowering grassroots advocates across Africa to influence inclusive public health policies and integrate PrEP access into human rights frameworks.
  2. $75,558 spent. Co-hosted and participated in strategic international summits focused on expanding LA-PrEP access for marginalized communities. In October 2025, GBGMC partnered with the Africa Advocacy Foundation in Paris to develop a regional roadmap for PrEP access among European LGBT+ immigrants and Afro-descendant communities. In November 2025, GBGMC leadership served on a leading panel at the Georgetown University Law Center's "Innovative HIV Prevention and Treatment" summit, addressing clinical evidence, regulatory hurdles, and strategies to overcome systemic barriers in low-resource settings.
  3. $67,128 spent. Partnered with COMPASS to convene grassroots advocates, civil society, and government leaders to develop community-led HIV response strategies amid international funding shifts. A major 2025 accomplishment was the publication and release of the Global Roadmap for Long-Acting PrEP Among Key Populations (developed with AVAC and Avenir Health). The report provided the first global demand forecast to advocate for equitable access, transparent pricing, and robust volume agreements from pharmaceutical partners.
  4. $38,323 spent. AMFAR/ViiV - This refers to the other Programs organized by the Organization. Advanced HIV prevention for key populations in alignment with the Global HIV Prevention Roadmap. 2025 activities included hosting regional workshops in Africa and Asia, conducting policy advocacy, and fostering community engagement to enhance access to innovative prevention technologies.
  5. $38,305 spent. Global Black Pride (GBP) - Advanced international human rights and health equity for Black LGBTQI+ communities. 2025 activities focused on strategic mobilization, providing secure spaces for activists from high-risk environments, and channeling financial assistance to grassroots organizations, system-impacted individuals, and Black LGBTQI+ artists.
  6. $16,982 spent. ICASA 2025 (Accra) - Advocated for African health sovereignty and the rollout of next-generation prevention tools at the ICASA conference in Ghana. Efforts focused on securing domestic financing for HIV interventions, advancing the registration of Lenacapavir, and ensuring safe, meaningful participation for key populations at international scientific forums.
  7. $10,259 spent. USAID/FHI 360 CSP Strengthening, CAB-PrEP - Part of the PEPFAR/USAID-funded EPIC Project led by FHI 360. Provided technical assistance and training to key population-led Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to support the community-led rollout of long-acting CAB-PrEP. 2025 achievements included developing a CAB-PrEP Peer Outreach FAQ booklet and participating in global capacity-building workshops.
