- $1.6 million spent. Feast Collective's Chef Program and subprogram "Table Time" take place at Feast World Kitchen: a food establishment and community space in Spokane, WA that exists for the betterment of the community and the empowerment of poor, disadvantaged, distressed, and/or underprivileged people who came as refugees and immigrants. We believe diversity, equity, and inclusion can happen around the table. This nonprofit social enterprise restaurant, catering company, and food wholesaler features a rotation of former refugee and immigrant chef-entrepreneurs. As they share flavor and culture from their original home countries, Feast's chef partners learn career skills, earn family-supporting income, and build community connections. (Continued on Schedule O)In 2024 we held over 700 training sessions with roughly 280 program participants, 225 volunteers, and we served thousands of customers. Table Time is a drop-in support program that serves immigrant and former refugee community members with practical support such as helping them with job applications, practicing English, etc.
