Precious Pound Pups Inc
Public records show a registered, tax-exempt organization in good standing.
What it says it does
Rescuing dogs/cats that are in danger of being euthanized at shelters, ensure they receive veterinary care provided by a license veterinarian, promote, advertise and through a screening process place rescued anima in loving forever homes. We take in owner surrenders, as an alternate to placing their dog/cat in public shelter. We will organize fundraising events and programs to aid in the administration of care, treatment and rehabilitation. Provide workshops and events to educate and inform individuals in the community on the increasingly high number of unwanted pets, importance of spaying/neutering and humane treatment of animals

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $37,408 spent. Our number of dogs for year was less but we had several medical cases. Vetting (vaccinations, dewormer, spay/neuter (age appropriate), heartworm tested/treated, heartworm prevention, flea/tick preventative, and microchip) was provided by licensed veterinarian. We were able to save heartworm positive dogs from being euthanized and provided heartworm treatment.
- $9,270 spent. In saving dogs, we required professional transport company to assist with bringing our rescued animals from high kill shelters to foster homes in Hudson Valley, NY to ensure safety and loving forever homes. Once placed in loving foster homes, we were able to promote, advertise and through a screening process placed rescued animal in loving forever homes. We were able to save several dogs with medical conditions that would otherwise have been euthanized
- $11,802 spent. In saving dogs/pups we were able to ensure all had proper nutrition and supplies (food, bed, toys, bones, leashes, collars, heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention and dewormer) and able to bring supplies to shelters in need.
