Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

- $24,192 spent. The mission of Head to Speech is to promote athlete brain health by closing the gap between athletics and communication sciences and disorders. We carry this out through four pillars, which are bridge, connect, integrate, and expand. 1) Bridging the gap between athletics and communication sciences: We develop relationships with associations, educational, university, healthcare, corporate, sports, recreation, and community settings for increased advocacy and inclusion into policies, protocols, guidelines, and hiring practices. 2) Connecting with community partners for awareness and training: We raise awareness and provide Interprofessional education and collaborative experiences and simulations with athletes and those who work directly with them. 3) Integrating brain health into athletes routines: We provide increased exposure, resources and referrals for brain and body screenings and interactive activations that integrate brain health and cognitive tasks into athletes warm ups, sports drills, physical exercises, daily routines, and transitional life and career skills. We build trust within culturally and linguistically diverse populations, and underserved athletic communities including those with disabilities. 4) Expanding the career pathways into brain health through sports careers and speech-language pathology: We provide workforce development programs for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students in clinical, teaching, research, community outreach, and dissemination. Head to Speech Board of Directors met 6 times including board meetings, 4th annual summit, 2nd annual board retreat and awards luncheon, career pathways open house and networking event, and brain workout-a-thon.
