Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $20,913 spent. The SuperiHER Womens Business Conference and Expo was a large scale professional development event designed to support and elevate women in business. The conference featured nine speakers, welcomed approximately 200 attendees, and included 40 exhibitors, creating opportunities for education, networking, and business growth. Revenue was generated through a structured sponsorship program with local and regional business partners. The event also incorporated a workforce development component by engaging local high school business students, who volunteered and gained hands on experience in event operations. Overall, the conference advanced the Chambers nonprofit mission by fostering economic vitality, professional development, and community collaboration within the womens business community.
  2. $19,218 spent. In partnership with the Town of Superior and Blue Sport Stable, the Superior Chamber hosted the annual Superior Winter Festival in Downtown Superior. This community focused event featured participation from 72 local businesses, was supported by 7 sponsors, and attracted an estimated 5,000 attendees. The festival created meaningful opportunities for local businesses to connect with residents, showcase products and services, and generate economic activity. As a free, family friendly event, Winter Festival aligns with the Chambers nonprofit mission by promoting local commerce, strengthening community engagement, and supporting the overall economic vitality of Superior.
  3. $7,775 spent. The Superior Chamber developed and implemented the Holiday Passport Program as a seasonal initiative to drive local shopping and support small businesses during the holiday season. The program included a curated Holiday Shopping Guide, promotion of Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, and a comprehensive Holiday Event Guide highlighting local activities and experiences. A total of 23 brick and mortar businesses participated in the Holiday Passport Program at no cost, and 56 businesses and nonprofits were featured in the Holiday Gift Guide, which was distributed to Superior residents at no cost to participating organizations. Designed to encourage residents to shop locally, the program increased visibility for participating businesses while fostering community engagement. This initiative directly supports the Chambers nonprofit mission by promoting economic activity, strengthening local business participation, and enhancing the overall vitality of the Superior business community during a critical retail period.
