- WE OFFER A CANTEEN AT OUR POST FOR MEMBERS. THE CANTEEN PROVIDES A COMRADERY ATMOSPHERE FOR VETS TO GO TO SOCIALIZE. WE HOLD FUNDRAISERS FOR VET'S HOSPITALS, CLOTHING AND FOOD DRIVES,BLOOD DONATION DRIVES. WE PROMOTE YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS, THE PATRIOT'S PEN AND ESSAY WRITING FOR JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS. WE HAVE CONTEST GAMES IN CANTEEN FOR ENTERTAINMENT OF MEMBERS. WE RECEIVE A SHARE OF PROCEEDS FROM MACHINE OWNER CORPORATION WHICH AIDS IN OUR DONATION PROCESS AS WELL AS OVERHEAD NEEDS. WE PROVIDE RENT OF OUR HALL FOR VARIOUS EVENTS, SUCH AS FUNERALS, BIRTHDAYS, WEDDINGS, ETC. THIS YEAR WE HAD AN ENTRY THAT WON 3RD PLACE IN THE YOUTH PATRIOTS PEN ESSAY COMPETITION FOR A 5,000 SCHOLARSHIP. WE ALSO RECEIVED THE ALL AMERICAN POST AWARD FOR THE 2024-2025 YEAR.
