Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $250 spent. This year we provide to Five scholarships to area high school students associated with the Church and one scholarship for youth who participated at the Douglas County Fair. The scholarships help offset the cost of the first year of college for any student living in the area we service. The monetary support comes from different fundraisers, proceeds from our portion of the St. Francis of Assisi Golf Tournament and our dues.
  2. The main gold of 2025 was to assist St. Francis of Assisi Parish by providing funds to reduce its debt, improve the Parish grounds, assist the Parish youth group with their service projects both locally and nationwide and to help provide for the poor of our community. We accomplish this by raising funds through our fish frys, selling food at the DC Fair and by using our resources for gaming.
  3. $369 spent. The third program was to donate funds to Special Olympics' in Douglas County, CO. In order to keep the funds in Douglas County we contacted the D.C. Sheriff Department because their Torch Run fund raiser was for Special Olympic and all fund they raised stayed in Douglas County. We accomplish this by raising funds through The Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll drive that we did over two weekends. All fund collect at these two events were donated to the Torch run and the Knights paid for all expenses.
  4. The Grants for other program services are describe in Schedule O
