  1. $779,134 spent. The type of support provided to the 3,163 students in these schools and their families include school clothing, school supplies, books and literacy support, health kits, arts experiences, parent classes, student and family enrichment, families in crisis and staff appreciation. The biggest accomplishment this year was adding funds to support families in crisis. This money was used to provide shelter, food, clothes and household goods to families in our ALD Schools experiencing severe family circumstances.

HELP participated in two community outreach programs this fiscal year including the Aging Well initiative sponsored by the City and County of Denver and the Heather Gardens annual America Recycles Day focusing on equipment donations to HELP.
