What it says it does

Our Valley Our Future is a collaborative non-profit organization that brings together residents and organizations to improve the regions quality of life. Its guiding document is its Action Plan which includes more than 86 projects and 6 game changers led by partnering organizations. Our Valley Our Future serves as a convener facilitator data-collector planner and communicator. Subsequent to the launch of our Action Plan 2022-2026 in 2023 and again in 2024 the organization focused on assisting the 6 Game Changer Lead Partner working groups made up of many Lead and Support Partners moving the game changers forward. A large focus for 2024 was moving the needle with the Housing Solutions Group - focused on the Game Changer - Regional Housing Approach. This is and continues to be a huge issue for the region. In early 2025 with all the prework done in 2024 a Housing Summit is planned.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. Regional Housing Approach - This is a continuation of our Game Changer from the 2017 Action Plan. It has grown in depth of research and has extended to many small cities in the Wenatchee Valley. While we oversee the organizing of the events - our Lead Partners manage the funding.
  2. Early Learning and Childcare - this game changer is overseen by the Catholic Charities in our region. The expenses are not paid by us - but a funder for Catholic Charities.
  3. Post Carbon Economy - this game changer overseen by another non-profit Sustainable NCW worked with other organizations to develop an assessment of our Wenatchee Valley carbon footprint. We were the fiscal agent for the non-profit but the funding and expenses were through Sustainable NCQ.
