Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $24,253 spent. Beethoven and Banjos Music Festival and School Programs: The Northwoods Music Collaborative produces and provides music programs and school music programs to lower income communities on a "come as you are, pay what you can" donation basis, thereby furthering music appreciation and understanding. We present to over 2000 community members and 1500 students in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
  2. $89,306 spent. School Programs and Special Events
  3. $26,988 spent. The Lullaby Project, in collaboration with Carnegie Hall, pairs parents and caregivers with professional musicians and writers to compose and sing lullabies for their children. Working with the Vermont Network and Writers for Recovery for the last six years, they have brought the Lullaby Project to survivors of domestic and sexual violence in communities and at the Vermont women's correctional facility. Each song amplifies love, connection and healing. Our teaching artists report that this is a powerful experience and the culminating performances that result from the work are amazing.
