Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $20,760 spent. Scholar Program - our scholars are Rosebud enrolled (2 being Rosebud residents) and pursuing higher education. They receive $500/semester, professional development, peer mentorship, and other additional investment. The purpose of the scholar program is to gather students dedicated to making positive change in Rosebud in cohorts so that when they are ready to make their change, they will have a team to do it. We recruit 10 rising college freshman each year. In this short accounting period of Jan 2025 - June 2025, we had 28 scholars that we directly invested $17,950 into in the following ways: (1) $14,000 ($500 end of semester award) (2) $3,750 ($50 for every professional development event they attend) (3) $200 (emergency funding).
  2. $8,312 spent. General Assistance - simple scholarship assistance awarded at up to $500/semester to any student that meets the following requirements: (1) Rosebud enrolled (2) pursuing higher education. In the short period Jan 2025 - June 2025, 23 students were served with $8,312 in grants.
  3. $13,394 spent. Cultural Exchange - a week-long trip to Aotearoa New Zealand for 3 students and 2 chaperones to learn from the Mori people and their unique struggle against colonization. The goal was for the students to gain perspective for when they want to make positive change in their home reservation.
