Programs described in its return (3)
- $343,952 spent. HOSTED COMPETITIONS GIVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO RAISE MONIES FOR THE PROGRAM. THE SPIRIT OF GREAT OAK APPLIES TO HOST COMPETITIONS THROUGH WGI AND SCPA. SOME YEARS SOGO IS CHOSEN TO HOST SEVERAL EVENTS. MANY SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT THE STATE AND OUT OF STATE COMPETE IN THEM.
- VERTICAL RAISE IS AN ONLINE FUNDRAISING PLATFORM THAT ALLOWS HIGHSCHOOLS TO SEEK DONATIONS FOR PROGRAMS. OUR BAND AND COLORGUARD STUDENTS SEND INVITES OUT TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS ASKING FOR DONATIONS TO HELP COVER SEASON EXPENSES. INDIVIDUALS WERE ABLE TO SIGN IN TO THIS SITE AND DONATE. VERTICAL RAISE THEN FORWARD DONATIONS AFTER THEY HAVE TAKEN THEIR TRANSACTION FEES.
- $16,068 spent. APPAREL FUNDS ARE RAISED BY SELLING SPIRIT OF GREAT OAK TEESHIRTS & SWEATSHIRTS AT OUR HOSTED COMPETITIONS AND TO OUR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES. IN ADDITION, WE SELL PREVIOUS SEASON UNIFORMS FROM THE COLORGUARD THAT ARE NO LONGER GOING TO BE USED.
