Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (1)
- $118,378 spent. Sage to Saddle provides an indoor horse riding arena and after-school program for children aged 8-18, focusing on equine relationships, horse care responsibilities, and the celebration and preservation of Native American heritage and culture. Through arena activities, homework assistance, and interactive classes guided by staff and volunteers well-versed in Lakota language and traditions, participants develop responsibility, focus, and a sense of pride while connecting with their rich heritage. The winter program runs for three months, supported by the arena and its 6 wranglers who assist in accommodating 15 students per session with two sessions daily during school weekdays. Over 75 students alternate days to ride with the program, with transportation and refreshments provided during the two-hour sessions. Approximately 60 children from reservations utilize the winter program as a respite from overcrowded living situations. Following the conclusion of the winter program, Sage to Saddle organizes three major group rides throughout the summer. These week-long events host up to 75 children per week who camp and ride over 120 miles per event. These extended rides offer participants a valuable opportunity to escape addiction issues prevalent on reservations while enjoying time with peers.
