- SCHA membership includes all guest-facing hospitality and tourism businesses, from lodging and dining, to tasting rooms, attractions and transportation companies. We also welcome Associate Members from industries and organizations supporting hospitality and tourism. We are an important piece of the Sonoma County economy: Our businesses employ almost 20,000 local residents, or ten percent of the workforce. Additionally, ninety percent of our businesses are locally owned and operated, resulting in more visitor dollars staying in Sonoma County, supporting our infrastructure.
