Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (2)
- $469 spent. In a joint project with KHHT2, KHHT helped acquire a donation of land to KHHT2 from the town of Kennebunkport, Maine. The organizations are building 6 affordable housing units on this approximately 5-acre parcel with sale of the units to qualified buyers targeted for 2nd quarter 2026. KHHT 2 manages the project finances. KHHT's executive director serves in the developer role: overseeing the builder, obtaining permits and approvals from the town, obtaining state grants to assist buyers, seeking and qualifying potential buyers, and other tasks.
- KHHT is responding to a request made in 2025 from the South Church Housing Corporation (SCHC), a local 501c3, to take over the ownership and management of an 8-unit, low-income apartment building in Kennebunkport. The current board of SCHC plans to disolve their organization in 2026. KHHT and SCHC are working together to complete the required legal steps for the transfer of assets.
