Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. THE NSDDS CAME UP WITH A STRATEGIC PLAN TO START NEW VIRTUAL EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS FOR MEMBERS. THE NSDDS WOULD INVITE 3-4 GUEST SPEAKERS TO PRESENT ON A RELEVANT DERMATOLOGY TOPIC THAT WILL BE IMPACTFUL FOR PHYSICIANS TO PRACTICE MEDICINE AND PROVIDE QUALITY OUTCOMES. WE HAVE BEEN WORKING TO INCREASE THE NSDDS MEMBERSHIP AND ENGAGEMENT AFTER COVID. WE WANT TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN NEVADA BY INCREASING COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. WE ARE WORKING ON PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NEVADA CANCER COALITION TO PROVIDE PHYSICIAN AND STUDENT VOULNTEERS IN THE SUN SMART PROGRAM, SKIN CHECK CLINICS, AND SUNSAFETY EVENTS AROUND THE STATE.
  2. ANNUAL MEETING, ONCE A YEAR. EDUCATIONAL EVENT DESIGNED TO KEEP THE DERMATOLOGIST AND DERMATOLOGIC SURGEON UP TO DATE WITH THE RAPID CHANGES OCCURRING IN THE PRACTICE OF DERMATOLOGY.
