The club provides trails for running and skiing on the Pincushion Mountain trail system supports the local high school ski team and running team including providing equipment and training and provides weekly ski lessons to elementary school aged children with the goal of fostering life-long participation in silent outdoor sports.

  1. $31,434 spent. Mowed running trails and groomed ski trails for residents and visitors to Cook County on the Pincushion Mountain trail system. Approximately 1,000 people benefit directly each year through club-hosted events such as the Fishermans Picnic Running Race and the Winter Ski Festival.
  2. $10,195 spent. Provided financial support to high school ski team for gear purchases coaching and general race support to approximately two dozen students hosted competitive races for half a dozen regional ski teams and the annual fall high school running race.
  3. $690 spent. Provided logistical and financial support to young Cook County skiers with the Ski Sparks program. The club maintains and provides equipment suitable for the children and hosted lessons for about +65 skiers. The coaches volunteered their time.
