Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This return does not answer enough of the governance questions to score.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $87,676 spent. In 2024 Emerge Action Fund (EAF - formerly WLE) hosted its signature program, Leaders Emerge Gathers, with two in-person programs in Las Vegas, NV and Atlanta, GA. There were a total of 20 fellows that attended, with 98% identifying as POC, 5% identifying as nonbinary, 53% identifying as LGBTQIA+, and 75% were under the age of 36. EAF is the place for leadership development for self-identifying women and nonbinary people within the New American Majority (NAM). This means people from a wide range of identities, backgrounds, experiences, and geographic regions of the country. EAF works to shift the narratives about leadership, setting boundaries, self-investment, self-care, and bringing these knowledge bases to communities that are often underserved and underrepresented. Leaders Emerge Gathers met the needs of Belonging, Empowerment, Transformation, and delivered services of Leadership Training, Mentoring, Continuing Education, and Affinity Circles of Connection.
  2. $42,671 spent. In 2024, Emerge Action Fund (EAF) expanded its educational programming to include two impactful initiatives, Step Forward and Emerge Rising, both designed to support and develop women leaders at every stage of their political journey. Step Forward serves as the entry point for women exploring political leadership. By laying the foundational knowledge and confidence needed to consider a future run, Step Forward helps demystify the process and open the door to political engagement. In 2024, five sessions were held virtually with nearly 100 sign-ups per training and approximately 30 participants in each. Emerge Rising offers a deeper dive into civic leadership and political action. This three-part training series guides women from civic engagement to appointed and elected positions, with sessions focused on seeking board and commission appointments, engaging in city and statewide policymaking, and taking the first steps towards running for office. Offered twice in 2024, Emerge Rising drew over 300 sign-ups and trained 30 women in each session. Participants represented a broad, diverse cross-section of the New American Majority from across the country. Through these complementary educational programs, EAF equips women with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to step into leadership and transform their communities.
  3. $26,374 spent. On May 2, 2024, Emerge Action Fund (EAF) piloted National Women Talk Politics Day with a successful social media focused campaign. The strategy included paid ads, paid and unpaid media partnerships, 1:1 outreach to key Emerge alums, influencer outreach, and targeted emails. The activation reached over 600,000 users, elevated the Emerge brand through support from figures like Hillary Clinton and Cecile Richards, and gained traction with the Instagram algorithm, which organically promoted content. The campaign also sparked unexpected engagement from New American Majority (NAM) women micro-influencers, growing the Emerge follower base to over 7,000 and opening doors for future collaborations.
  4. $7,447 spent. EAF's Gavel In program was created to train jurists who want to serve in judgeships to run successful and strategic political campaigns.
