Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $699,034 spent. Competitive Teams. Organize competitive boys and girls basketball teams from 1st Grade through High School. These organized teams have 8-12 players that practice 2-3 times per week. These teams compete in various tournaments throughout Northern California and many travel out of state for larger regional and national tournaments. The teams are both grade and aged based and we offer various levels for each group so that all players can be properly placed based on their skill level and grade/age.
- Training Program. We offer a full program of clinics and workouts throughout the year. These skill development training programs vary in skill level. For younger entry level players, we focus on core fundamentals and the basics of the game. For more advanced players we progress to high level skill development to prepare them for competitive high school basketball programs. We also offer many clinics that are focused on specific aspects of the game, such as shooting and ball handling clinics.
- Summer Camps. Spartan Summer Camp Program is a comprehensive week long camp that is offered to all grade levels throughout the summer. The program is open to the general public, not just registered Spartan players. The camps are organized by grade level and focus on all aspects of the game and is suited for both beginners and advanced players. In addition to basketball skill development, the camp incorporates a strength and conditioning program, team building exercises, public speaking seminars, and has a guest speaker series.
