Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $15,150 spent. Trained volunteers operated four programs throughout the year to provide therapy services to underserved communities, including Understanding Your Disability, Empowering Your Patient, Caring for Caregivers, and Mental Health & Wellness For Your Patient. We utilize the Training-of-Trainers (ToT) model, in which experienced professionals impart their expertise to others who, in turn, become trainers themselves. This cascading effect creates a sustainable and scalable method for disseminating knowledge and skills through a multidisciplinary community. TBB has trained 5,160 people to date across 149 training events, which has led to an estimated impact on over 52,000 people.
