Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $12,776 spent. "Skyflight". This program is designed to introduce general aviation to young people. It allows them to work on airplanes with EAA Chapter member oversight in our hangar. There is a Cessna 150 that they are able to work on. It is being completely rebuilt and brought back to flying status with the objective of selling it when it is complete. Each Thursday evening and Saturday they meet. Additionally youth members are invited to go on familiarization in members aircraft.
  2. $500 spent. "David Mischke Scholarship". The EAA Chapter awards a scholarship to youth from 7 to 17. The scholarship is for $1,000 and is designed to help a student pilot to learn to fly. In 2025, a scholarship was awarded but not all of the funds were used by year end. It is funded through donations.
  3. $50 spent. "Young Eagles". The EAA National Organization developed the Young Eagle program. This program allows member pilots to take student aged 7 to 17 on short familiarization flights in member aircraft. We have 2 events each year in the summer. There is no cost to the student and member aircraft and time are donated.
