Governance

Programs described in its return (1)
- In our fiscal year of October 2023 to September 2024 MakingMattersNH continued our mission of education and expanded our work of community building while helping to grow the small business economy. We held a summer series of free woodworking education seminars open to the public, continued to provide hands-on training on several types of CNC machines and scheduled our first multiday woodworking class. We piloted a youth membership program which enabled a "Destination Imagination" team to win a state level competition. We supported nine small making businesses throughout the year, providing incubation space to work in and advanced equipment to use. MakingMatters built display infrastructure for our local town's annual "Old Home Days" celebration as well as Concord's inaugural "Sound and Color" Festival. Other programing initiatives with old and new non-profit partners included participation in a free parent/child Saturday event for an underserved neighborhood, running a free parent/child holiday activity on Concord?s Main Street and creating a recurring community making event at the Capitol Center for the Arts.
