Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $64,245 spent. The organization advances its mission through educational programming, professional education for healthcare providers, partnerships with healthcare and advocacy organizations, and public awareness campaigns conducted both in the United States and internationally. The work of Endo Collective is organized into four primary program areas: 1. School Nurse InitiativeThe School Nurse Initiative focuses on educating primary and secondary school nurses across the United States about the symptoms and impact of endometriosis in adolescents. The goal of the program is to help decrease the well-documented diagnostic delay associated with endometriosis by equipping school nurses with educational tools and resources. Through the Think Endo Toolkits, participating nurses receive educational materials including copies of the film Below the Belt, educational posters and fact sheets in English and Spanish, a sample lesson plan, and a discussion guide. Nurses may also elect to receive Continuing Education credit through a partnership with the Northeastern University School Health Academy. Endo Collective has partnered with the National Association of School Nurses as well as several state school nurse associations to help distribute these materials and educate their members. 2. Website & Digital Education Endo Collective maintains educational websites and digital platforms that provide information and resources for individuals affected by endometriosis, including patients, healthcare providers, and caregivers. These platforms host educational materials, resources, and awareness campaigns designed to increase understanding of the disease and improve access to credible information. 3. Partnerships & Advocacy Endo Collective collaborates with medical professionals, advocacy organizations, and educational institutions to advance awareness and education related to endometriosis. These partnerships support broader public understanding of the disease and encourage earlier recognition of symptoms.4. Impact Campaign Below the Belt Endo Collective currently conducts a significant portion of its programmatic work through a number of educational outreach and awareness initiatives, including the use of the PBS documentary film Below the Belt as one of several educational tools. The film serves as an educational resource used to highlight the experiences of individuals living with endometriosis and helps support the organizations mission of improving understanding of endometriosis and promoting earlier recognition and better care. Endo Collective organizes educational programs including conference presentations, expert panels, university and medical education events, and discussions with healthcare professionals, policymakers, and community organizations around the world. The impact campaign also includes public awareness efforts, media outreach, and digital engagement designed to increase understanding of endometriosis and promote earlier recognition of symptoms. Program expenses related to this initiative include travel to educational events and conferences, communications and public relations support, digital and social media outreach, and part-time administrative support necessary to coordinate these educational activities. Through these program activities, Endo Collective works to increase awareness of endometriosis, improve early recognition of symptoms, and support education among both healthcare professionals and the public.
