Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $421,971 spent. We fiscally sponsored People's Budget Birmingham and Birmingham Earth Coalition.
  2. $51,751 spent. We conducted a 20-week Home Energy Retrofit Street Team and hired six residents from local communities experiencing high energy burden and taught them how to retrofit homes. In addition to retrofitting homes, the Street Team was active in conducting regular community mutual aid events and resource fairs as a tool for building relationships in the community and conducting surveys through door-to-door canvassing and phone banks. Thoughout the Summer and Fall we facilitated eight HER Clinics, which included hands on training while retrofitting a resident's home. All eight clinics were conducted in communities with high energy burden. In the late Fall we hired our first ever Energy Equity Organizer to manage and expand our HER programming in 2026. Throughout the Fall we partnered with a community cultural center to host a resource event, where we distributed over 50 Home Energy Retrofit DIY kits to residents.
