Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. KAAE was able to provide two scholarships to student teachers who have since accepted positions in agriculture classrooms across the state. This is a significant accomplishment as supporting and developing new agriculture educators is critical to preventing programs from closing due to teacher shortages. By investing in future educators KAAE is helping ensure that agricultural education opportunities remain available for students throughout Kentucky.
  2. $1,500 spent. KAAE was able to provide quality professional development opportunities for teachers throughout the year through the implementation of New Teacher Workshops that addressed topics specifically designed for educators beginning their careers. This support helps ensure that young teachers are better prepared to successfully manage their classrooms develop effective instructional practices and build strong agricultural education programs.
