Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $54,427 spent. Description for Line 28 -990-EZ - 2025 BStronglife Campus Clubs In 2025 BStronglife Campus Clubs conducted 149 lunchtime club meetings on four high school campuses (Nipomo High School, Central Coast New Tech High School, Arroyo Grande High School and Santa Maria High School) and one junior high, El Camino Junior High. BStronglife Campus Club reaches more than 300 high school and junior high students weekly, bringing special speakers and messages that teach leadership principles based on the Bible and includes speakers that address such issues as anti-bullying, drug prevention, and suicide awareness. BStronglife also hosted various community outreach events where students can earn community service hours (a prerequisite for graduation in some school districts). In 2025 BStronglife hosted the Olde Towne Nipomo Family Christmas event which draws crowds of between 8 and 10 thousand for the single day event. More than 90 students from high schools around the Central Coast come to the event to earn community service hours serving as game hosts in Candyland Village, elves for visits/photos with Santa, crowd control, traffic control for the parade, banner carriers for the parade, set-up and tear-down crew, sanitation crew, sound and lighting tech for various entertainment stages, dcor prep and tear down, and various other tasks. BStronglife provided more than 600 hours of community service time to 92 participating students. BStronglife is also the host of Kids Day in the Park Egg Hunt which serves approximately 800 children. Students from 3 different high schools participated in the event, helping with egg seeding, crowd control, set-up and tear-down and much more. In 2025, 45 students earned community service hours totaling more than 225 hours. BStronglife also held a street clean-up day in April. BStronglife has adopted three streets in Nipomo through the San Luis Obispo County Adopt-A-Road program. Students assisted in April of 2025 to pick-up garbage on South Frontage Road, Hill Street and Mary Street in Nipomo. Additionally, BStronglife Clubs hold special breakfast events or ice cream parties for teachers, classified employees, janitorial, administration and all staff at four high schools and one junior high as part of Teacher Appreciation Week. These activities are directly connected to BStrongLife's exempt purpose of educating, empowering, and engaging students on their values through biblical principles and the power of Jesus. BStrongLife Clubs operate on school campuses and depend on the cooperation, goodwill, and active support of school administration and staff to maintain access to students and conduct their faith-based programs. Teacher Appreciation Week events serve to cultivate and sustain these essential relationships, enabling BStrongLife to continue its student-focused mission. Without the ongoing partnership and support of school personnel, BStrongLife's ability to reach and serve its student beneficiaries would be substantially impaired. Finally, in August of 2025 BStronglife held for the first time a leadership training day for officers and Ambassadors (the planning leadership team for BStronglife Club) 22 students participated in the day long event that included a nationally recognized leadership speaker from the Council on Leadership and a host of leadership inspired activities that created team bonding and vision for life success.
