Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $1.4 million spent. The primary program of Sowers4Pastors is outreach ministry furthering the Gospel message, while providing benevolent support and assistance to those in need primarily in western Honduras. Resources are provided to Honduran pastors, Honduran missionaries, Honduran evangelists, Honduran families, and Honduran children. Assistance includes Bible training, feeding centers, and collecting and distributing backpacks, school supplies, school shoes and other needs to assist children getting an education. In 2024, 5,200 backpacks full of school supplies and 3,600 pairs of shoes were collected and distributed. As many children in western Honduras do not attend school specifically because their families are unable to purchase the required school supplies, this project empowers the children to get an education. Additionally, the organization facilitates 80 feeding programs, feeding 8,000 children twice per week. We distributed 3,600 Bibles and Bible story books to children. We also facilitate a pastor training school, which 44 pastors attended during 2024. A total of 90 were also trained as Sunday School teachers. Sowers4Pastors has been funded under the umbrella of other nonprofit organizations since 2001. As the ministry grew, it became necessary for Sowers4Pastors, Inc. to incorporate in 2017 and work independently as its own 501c3 which was approved by the IRS in 2018. Since 2001, the ministry has helped distribute over 60,000 Bibles and other Bible study materials, has facilitated 200 pastors graduating from a 3 year pastor training program, distributed approximately 4,800 pastor appreciation gifts, provided approximately 20 million meals in our nutrition deficiency feeding programs, facilitated the availability of over $270,000 worth of medical and dental aid and hosted over 212 visiting teams doing community service/medical/educational, construction, etc.
  2. $20,905 spent. Construction projects - To further the primary mission, the organization assists local villages with church construction. The assistance is primarily with roofing materials after church walls are already built by the local villages themselves. In 2024, Sowers4Pastors helped 22 churches with their construction projects. Since 2001, the ministry has been involved with the construction of 240 churches, 32 bridges, 18 schools, 120 new houses, as well as assisting with renovations and repairs of 125 houses damaged by hurricanes or poorly constructed due to poverty, and more than 25 community water and municipal projects.
  3. $28,746 spent. Transportation - To further the primary mission, the organization assists local Honduran pastors in purchasing a motorcycle, horse or mule requiring that they at least pay a portion themselves. Motorcycles, horses and mules assist the pastors that often have several congregations in different villages. In 2024, Sowers4Pastors helped pastors purchase 20 motorcycles. Since 2006, 448 pastors have been assisted with motorcycles and 71 pastors with horses or mules.
