Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $48,319 spent. We delivered free of charge to 181 Veterans in 2024 using all volunteers.
  2. Not all items we provide are donated. We purchase bedding, platforms, beds, vacuum cleaners TVs, universal remotes, and supplies for the warehouse. We deliver these goods to Veterans in need in a 2&1/2 hour radius of our warehouse. We pay for fuel, insurance, maintenance of our truck and trailers at no cost to the Veterans. We served 181 Veterans in 2024.
  3. We've created great partnerships for goods to supplement the supplies we have and items donated. The Elks Foundation through their "Welcome Home Veterans Kits" that they provide when the Veteran goes from homeless to housing, Walmart Distribution, Caring Transitions and Ashley Industries give us support through donations of household goods.
  4. Veterans (and their families)get a space to live in (or just need to improve on what they have) we fill the apartment or house to make it a home. We give them a bed, instead of sleeping on the ground or sharing a space with 5-10 others. We give them pots and pans, utensils, dishes, so they can prepare hot meals. A couch, recliner, TV, kitchen table and chairs, nightstands, lamps, dresser, chest of drawers etc. We make their space a HOME!
