Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $6,382 spent. The third largest item supported is the PFC run High Interest Day event. Funds are used to help cover costs of supplies and presenter fees. During this day we have community groups and parents provide different types of activities that the kids can choose to participate in. The day exposes the students to new sports, arts, crafts and hobbies that they may otherwise not be exposed to allowing them to experience many different things that they may be interested in.
  2. $13,501 spent. The largest expense for the PFC the Journey Into the Arts. In this program we hired an artist to come into the school and design a new piece of art for the front of the school. The artist then worked with the student to create the art. Every student was able to participate in creating the art that is now installed on the front of the school. The project has refreshed the school appearance and the students are all proud to have contributed.
  3. $8,251 spent. The second largest expense was for class field trips. The PFC was able to pay for all class field trips this year. Field trips benefit students by enhancing academic learning through hands-on experiences, improving social and emotional development by fostering teamwork and communication, and sparking curiosity and motivation for learning. They provide real-world context for classroom lessons, expose students to new environments and cultures, and can even boost long-term academic performance
