Programs described in its return (4)
- $27,000 spent. Supported the establishment and ecosystem integration of the Aspiritech Academy. Seed funding of $25,000 enabled the full curriculum design and launch of a 10-week Cybersecurity Academy for autistic adults. The pilot cohort achieved a 95% first-attempt certification pass rate and 100% job placement, scaling to serve 75 students in 2026 with over 100 projected certifications by year-end. An additional $2,000 supported the development and maintenance of the Aspiritech Academy database within the "HAAPE Hub" -- a shared digital infrastructure connecting operating partners, employers, and neurodivergent jobseekers in a centralized, cross-program job placement network.
- $10,000 spent. Funded the implementation of an entrepreneurship bootcamp for autistic adults in partnership with Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Out of 18 applicants and 14 qualified enrollees, 12 students completed the program, gaining core competencies in business planning, customer discovery, and sales presentation. The program successfully established an adapted instructional framework tailored for neurodivergent entrepreneurs. Grant funds supported instructional design, university program fees, participant resources, and video documentation to facilitate ongoing post-graduation mentorship and business sustainability.
- $900 spent. Provided educational scholarships for adults with autism to complete specialized Supply Chain and Logistics training through Broward College. The remote, self-paced 8-module program prepares candidates for career opportunities across manufacturing, retail, and wholesale distribution networks. In FY 2025, HAAPE provided scholarships for 6 students covering 6 full courses. Since program inception in 2021, HAAPE has awarded scholarships to 35 unique individuals completing a cumulative total of 71 certified courses.
- $158 spent. Conducted public education and community outreach to train employers, municipalities, religious organizations, and local leaders on the strategic benefits of hiring adults with autism. HAAPE fosters inclusive, "autism-friendly" communities and drives national workforce ecosystem development. These outreach operations are primarily executed by volunteers, resulting in minimal administrative software and website maintenance expenses for the fiscal year.
